String is the thing!

Many of the toys of the 1800s were made from household items. String was something that was available. Try your hand at “Cat's Cradle”, Cup and Ball Game or “Button Buzzers”. Make or take the games to go.

Handkerchief "Church" Dolls

Made from a readily available handkerchief, they served as silent, soft toys preventing noise during long religious services thus earning their name. Create one as a new member of your family!
