My Dear Mother-
You will be wondering when I will be in Edinburgh but I am here now. I arrived yesterday at about noon, had some lunch and found my way to 4 Mayfield Rd. Mrs. McIntyre had expected me to come by the morning train and was down town looking for me when I got to her place. I left Crowborough camp on Tuesday morning and have to be back

by Sunday night, ready to start training on Monday morning. Edinburgh is a beautiful place, although I haven't had a chance to see much of it yet. I was in London all day Tuesday and went through Westminster Abbey in the morning. In the afternoon I went to a show and after that walked around to different places until tram time.
I am going down town now and just

wrote this letter to catch the Canadian mail and not to tell you anything about what I am doing. I will do that when I get back to camp. I think I will buy a birthday present for Pug & Bill and perhaps one for you if I can get anything any good!
I went on pass with +7 8s 3d and might as well spend it all.
