My own dearest Minnie

Your most welcome letter came yesterday, and that makes the third one this week so that makes up for lost time doesn't it darling. I guess you had sort of a party gathering when at the Ex but dearie I hope to be back next year, in time to take you, which will be just lovely won't it dearie, and then our trip to Simcoe will be great to [sic], and I'm sure dear girlie I am looking forward to going there with you, and who was it that gave me the invitation down, you never told me yet darling wether [sic] you told anyone that we were engaged, or not, let me know in your next letter will you dear please, as I'm anxious to know. 

The weather is just lovely now, and it reminds me so much of last summer over at the Island, and when we went for canoe trips at Oakville in the good old summer, but never mind dearie there will be lots of time when I do get back, as I'm never going away anymore. Well darling there isnt, any more news to say this time so will close, for this time hoping this [strikethrough] leav [/strikethrough] reaches you in the best of health as it leaves me yours ever loving and true
