Dear Gordon-I just finished writing Melville so I thought I had better write to you. To-day is Children's Day in Sunday School but it is over with now anyway.Ma is at Camp Borden with Mrs. Chisholm and they will be back to-morrow. I wish she would stay a little longer.Douglas Stuart is here and he is making me make all these blots(Page 2)XXXXXXXXXXXXXXso now he's spoiled my letter.Ed says to tell you that Maggie XXXX didn't put butter in the pan before she put the potatoes. She's some cook anyway.There have been four boys that came out from Toronto yesterday one was a soldier. They came in here and wanted to see Ed but he wasn't in, and as they were going out the boy took a jump and jimmied up on the soldiers' shoulders.I haven't had a letter from you for a long time. Well I haven't very much news to tell you. I guess Faith day is next Thursday.
