The Munro Letters

Transcription

Dear Gug,It is 23 and a quarter to one. I got that letter and one from Melville at the same time so I had quite a time reading them. When I go back to school I will tell XXXX(Page 2)Amy that you often see him. You can tell him that I (I mean your sister) know Margaret (his sister). It takes me a long time to write this letter because I have my new watch here and I am always looking at it. It's exactly 10 to now.Ding-a-ling-a-ling there goes the dinner(Page 3)bell. I will take this to school and finish it because we have more ink there. So long.Well I have been to school two or three times but haven't taken this yet so I guess I will finish it now. Well there isn't much news only that mean Miss Brown's(Page 4)little boy was at school with her this morning. I'll finish this letter when I go to school this afternoon.Good-bye for now I am your sisterEthel MunroP.S: If you see Scottie give him my best regards. Ethel.
