My own Darling Lover.

just a line, or lines tonight dearest, to say I received your ever welcome letter safely yesterday after coming back from Hamilton, and am just delighted with the plan of being married at the house, and I'll like it much better and am glad the minister is away on his holidays.

Everybody here seems to like the idea too, and I wish it was over, as I just long to have you all by myself, and how I'd love to have you tonight. But it isn't long to wait now dearest and next week will just fly, and I hope D.V. everything will go alright, I'm getting another raise, as I'm getting on fine at my work, thanks for being such a lovable girlie towork for and make happy. 

I got my suit, and several other things hat etc: the suit is a blue with a very fine white or gray stripe about an inch wide, and looks just fine on me, also a stiff color [sic], and gray tie, it cost me sixty-three dollars for clothes yesterday, and last but not least a lovely ring, very narrow, and almost round, with a flat inside to fit your finger, it was ten dollars 18 karrat [sic]. so you see lover it cost me a little coin for stuff and I have my boots and shirts to get yet. But when I think what it’s for, the greatest event in my life eh lover. 

Well sweetheart there isn't more to say this time, how I’d love to have you tonight, as I feel like having lots of loving and kissing tonight, but just a week tomorrow and there will lots of loving  then at least, am anxious to hear if that minister can marry us,
